I will contact Contact Dr. William Saunders, Director, Undergraduate Programs

Financial Plan:

  • The total cost of my bachelors degree and living expenses over the next three to three and a half years is going to be roughly around $65,000. Luckily for me I have the Post 9/11 GI Bill that will help cover my tuition and fees as well as a monthly basic allowance for housing during the semesters I am enrolled in at school. I also receive a $1,000 stipend for books and supplies a year from the GI Bill.

  • Just like any other student I will apply for financial aid to help aid my living expenses throughout the semesters I am enrolled.

  • Another way to receive money is I will apply for scholarships as well as applying for the Pell Grant.

Transition Resources:

  • The Veterans Service Office will be my main point of contact as I transition to UNCC. With this they will help me with my classes, financial aid, any tutoring I need as well as other resources outside of the VA office that they offer.

  • Other resources I will stay in contact with are Career services which will help me on my resume, and job searching as well as internships. I will also look into the Student life and get involved with other students throughout campus.
