My name is Andrew Kollar. I am 24 years old and I am a  college student in pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. Before starting college my brother and I joined the United States Marine Corps right out of high school in 2013.  I served five years  as a Flight Equipment Technician at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina. Upon separating from the Military in June of 2018 I moved here to Charlotte, North Carolina to begin my new life. I am currently a freshman at Central Piedmont Community College and I plan to transfer to The University of North Carolina-Charlotte to complete my degree.

Outside of school I work part time for the protein bar company PowerCrunch. Hobbies that I enjoy doing are  writing, and anything related to being active such as; working out, hiking, flag football and golfing. I also volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of Charlotte by tutoring them,  playing sport with them and just hanging out with them.
